Free Community Event and Expo brings Venice businesses together October 15
The three-hour gathering at Venice Community Center offers local connections, light bites and giveaways.

Venice residents can meet local businesses at the free Community Event and Expo on Thursday, October 15, from 4 to 7 p.m. The event is at Venice Community Center, 326 Nokomis Avenue South.
The Venice Area Chamber of Commerce organizes the gathering. Venice MainStreet’s current calendar describes a casual atmosphere with light bites, prizes and giveaways, alongside opportunities to learn about participating businesses’ products and services.
The event is open to the public, making it a useful stop for residents who want to ask questions face to face rather than start with an online search. The Chamber’s annual-events page provides additional information about the expo. Plan for the community-center address; this event is separate from the downtown Sun Fiesta that begins the following day.
