Sun Fiesta bed-race teams must register by October 9
The October 17 race starts at 9:30 a.m., with a $100 team entry fee.
Teams planning to enter Venice’s 2026 Sun Fiesta Bed Race have an October 9 registration deadline. The race is Saturday, October 17, at Centennial Park, with check-in at 8:30 a.m. and the start at 9:30.
Entry costs $100 per team, waived for Platinum and Gold sponsors. Teams provide their own bed or can rent a shared bed for another $100, according to the organizer’s rules.
Each team has one rider, four pushers and two relief pushers. Mechanical propulsion is prohibited. The theme is “Running for 100 Years of Venice Celebration,” and prizes include trophies and gift cards. Anyone with questions can contact Nancy Jordan at 941-468-5146 before submitting the application. Registering ahead matters; the posted deadline comes a week before race day.
